Grudge Box is provided by Big Hairy AI Lab LLC (“Big Hairy AI Lab”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Grudge Box mobile application (the “App”) or visit grudgebox.games (the “Website”).

1. Information handled by the App

You may choose to enter a customised name for a character and text describing a grudge, frustration or other thought you want to let go. This information is used only to personalise your experience. It is stored locally on your device and isn't sent to us or third parties by the App.

Depending on your device and operating-system settings, locally stored App data may be included in a device backup managed by Apple or another service you have enabled. Those backup services are controlled by their providers and your account settings.

2. Analytics, diagnostics and advertising

The current App doesn't include third-party analytics, third-party crash reporting, advertising or cross-app or cross-website tracking.

If we introduce any of these features, we'll review the information involved, update this policy and relevant app-store disclosures, and seek consent where required. We don't intend to include user-entered character names or grudge text in analytics, diagnostic reports or advertising systems.

3. Website information

You can browse this Website without creating an account or submitting personal information. Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the Website, such as an IP address, browser type, device type, request time and security logs. This is used for operation, security and troubleshooting, not behavioural advertising.

4. Information you send us

If you contact us, we'll receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message and attachments. We use it to respond, provide support, maintain appropriate business records and address legal or security issues. We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary or required by law.

Please don't include sensitive personal information or the text of your private grudges in a support request unless it's necessary for us to assist you.

5. Disclosure of information

We don't sell personal information. Information you send directly may be handled by service providers that support our business, such as email, website hosting, file storage or professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of users, Big Hairy AI Lab or others.

6. Children's privacy

The App doesn't require users to create an account and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us, please contact us so we can assess and, where appropriate, delete it.

7. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect information provided directly to us. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. You're responsible for securing your device and backups. Deleting the App will generally remove its locally stored data from that device, although copies may remain in backups controlled through your device or account settings.

8. Your privacy rights

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction, or raise a privacy concern. Because App content remains on your device, we can't access, correct or delete your locally stored character names or grudge text. We'll respond in accordance with applicable Australian law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the App, Website or our practices change. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised effective date. Where a change materially affects how the App collects or uses personal information, we'll provide any additional notice or consent required by law.
